This course provides a comprehensive foundation in SAP S/4HANA Material Management (MM), focusing on how organizations manage procurement, inventory, and material valuation within SAP.You will gain practical exposure to:
- SAP S/4HANA and MM fundamentals, including key concepts and terminology used in materials and procurement management
- Structuring and linking organizational units such as company, plant, storage location, purchasing organization, and purchasing group
- Managing master data including material master, vendor master, info records, and source lists
- Executing the complete procure-to-pay (P2P) cycle from purchase requisition to invoice verification
- Handling inventory management processes such as goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfers, and physical inventory
- Understanding material valuation and account determination, including price control methods
- Working with pricing procedures and purchase price determination
- Configuring and using release strategies for purchase order approvals
- Performing source determination and vendor evaluation for effective procurement decisions
- Managing special procurement processes such as subcontracting, consignment, and third-party procurement
- Implementing batch management and split valuation concepts
- Generating standard reports and analytics to monitor procurement and inventory performance
